The upcoming wearable from Samsung that has been highly anticipated is the Galaxy Ring, but it has not yet been revealed how the device will charge once it runs out of power or warns about a low battery.

The recent leak by a well-known insider and rumor monger earlier today, outlining what Samsung will provide once the Galaxy Ring is available, provided an answer.

Leak: How to Charge Samsung's Galaxy Ring

Renowned leaker Ice Universe recently shared on the Chinese social media platform Weibo that the Samsung Galaxy Ring will have a dedicated charging case for multiple needs. First, users would be able to use this to replenish the battery of the bright ring when they notice a low battery or power level or when the device runs out of juice.

Next, this also serves as a storage or carrying case to ensure the Galaxy Ring is not lost or misplaced, especially if one is forgetful.

This foregoes the need for wires to charge the device itself, but it remains unknown if this is a battery case like the ones offered by wireless earbuds, which serve as both a charging and travel case in one.

Different Charging Methods of Smart Rings

According to 9to5Google, this is similar to RingConn's smart ring, which offers a charging case for its wearable and a storage box in one. However, it differs from Oura's charging methods, which offer a dock where its smart ring would magnetically attach but is exposed.

The Galaxy Ring would have a line on the wearable and its case that needs to be aligned. It will feature colored LEDs that signify the device's charge level.

Samsung Galaxy Ring: What to Expect?

The unexpected reveal earlier this January for Samsung was its Galaxy Ring, and what was once a teaser that appeared at the end of its Unpacked  Galaxy S24 event is now a wearable coming later this year. This device serves as Samsung's first take on the smart ring wearable, delivering a new form of health tracker that offers a stylish addition to one's ensemble.

It offers significant tracking features for health and fitness, including one that users may also wear while sleeping to help deliver massive data and information for its owner. It will also be an Android-exclusive wearable, and while Samsung allows it to pair with other smartphone brands, it will not be available on iOS and other devices.

So far, users do not know what comes in the box of the Galaxy Ring, with Samsung not yet revealing the entire package on the device and what to expect once it arrives. However, a recent leak clarifies that it will have a dedicated charging case to use whenever the device gets low on battery, but it also serves as a storage box for when it is not in use.
