The Avaya Secure Router 4134 is a router and firewall manufactured by Avaya. It has support for various standard protocols, such as the VRRP and MPLS.[1] The router meets typical energy efficiency standards.[2][3]

Operational deployment

This system is normally installed at headquarters, regional or branch office and connected across the wide area network to another router or secure router at a regional, branch or other smaller remote location.

4 port T1/E1 module

The router supports up to seventy-two power over Ethernet ports, along with up to thirty-one T1/E1 ports, fifty-eight-gigabit Ethernet switching ports, or up to sixty-four FXO or FXS ports.[4]

The Router is capable of supporting Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) ALG, network translation and cone network translation for the UNIStim protocol.

Security

The Avaya secure router 4134 supports the IPSec VPN protocol, VLANs, and a standard zoned firewall. It also provides a stateful packet firewall and supports deep packet inspection.[4]
