"Artificial"
"...What's the I-"
"Intelligence."
"Ooohhhhhhhhh what was the A again?"
2 Indian Premier League 1,766,586 Technically this and #5 enter the >94% mobile views threshold for exclusion. But it's the newly started latest season of India's favorite sport, the traffic must be legit.
3 John Wick: Chapter 4 1,730,723 The Outline wrote in 2019: "Few will remember the majority of the doomed attempts to hack together cinematic franchises from whatever tired intellectual property was at hand. [But a] notable exception is the nascent John Wick universe, which is building a rich, intricate world from a simple but brilliant pitch: It's Keanu Reeves and he has both a gun and a knife."

In 2023, that statement remains truer than ever: while DC and Marvel's recent outings have received lukewarm reviews and lackluster box office returns, John Wick: Chapter 4 has become the highest-rated John Wick film on both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic and has topped the box office for the second weekend in a row. And with both a spin-off film and prequel TV series in the works, John Wick appears to be here to stay.

4 Paul O'Grady 1,396,109 This British "national treasure" died this week, at the age 67. O'Grady first achieved notability as his drag persona: Lily Savage: Savage by name and savage by nature - becoming mainstream and starting to appear as the character in a variety of shows, before choosing to diversify with the character taking a backseat as he started to present several TV and radio shows in the years. O'Grady continued to present and perform until his death. And even after death, they continue to show repeats of his most famous performances.
5 2023 Indian Premier League 1,378,520 India started getting its cricket fix on Friday, and it'll will last until May. But we might not let this article back if it's mostly mobile views again.
6 2023 Covenant School shooting 1,201,214 Another American mass school shooting, this time in Nashville, Tennessee. Seven people died: the perpetrator (more on him later), three children (all aged nine), a teacher, a custodian and the school's head. The perpetrator has been identified as a Aiden Hale, a 28-year-old suffering from an undisclosed, possibly relevant emotional disorder. As usual, this has restoked America's biggest division (or possibly second-biggest after abortion?) with thousands marching on the Tennessee state capitol, with some children holding signs saying "I'm nine". Tennessee lawmakers have reacted, but by allowing private schools to hire police to help prevent shootings - but recently this strategy didn't work at all: Robb Elementary School shooting.

Let's be realistic, nothing major will happen: American lawmakers have failed to act after the Virginia Tech shooting, the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, and the Columbine High School massacre. So we will just have go get used to the list of school shootings in the United States (2000–present) getting bigger and bigger as children get murdered in their classrooms.

7 WrestleMania 39 906,571 WWE's premier event always gets much attention, and this year was held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
8 Deaths in 2023 903,176 You can see their shadows wandering off somewhere
They won't make it home
But they really don't care...
9 Keanu Reeves 873,008 The star of #3. Among his next projects are an adaptation of his comic book BRZRKR, the expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, and the John Wick spinoff Ballerina.
10 Humza Yousaf 808,420 The new First Minister of Scotland (a bit like a Governor for our American readers). Yousaf has been a member of the Member of the Scottish Parliament since 2011, and served in the cabinet since 2018. Yousaf has big shoes to fill with his predecessor, Nicola Sturgeon, having held the role for nine years and becoming a household name in the process - even for those living in England.
11 The Night Agent 724,977 A new Netflix series, based on a Matthew Quirk novel about an FBI agent searching for a mole who has infiltrated the US government. It became one of Netflix's most-viewed series within days of its March 23 premiere and has been renewed for a second season. Also I'd never even heard about until seeing it on the list today.
12 Gwyneth Paltrow 687,674 In 2016, this actress had a skiing accident bumping into a retired optometrist, who this year managed to bring her to the court wanting extensive indenization for what were supposedly extensive damage. After eight live-streamed days, the trial's verdict had Paltrow found not responsible for the collision, and in turn the plaintiff will have to pay her attorney fees.
13 Caitlin Clark 629,468 March Madness is moving along, and somehow it's the women's tournament that earned an entry, as this Iowa player wrecked the box scores and set records going all the way to the final, lost to LSU.
14 Carlo Masi 614.273 An Italian former gay porn actor turned mathematics lecturer, who won a lawsuit regarding an unfair dismissal by the Sapienza University of Rome.
15 Jonathan Majors 581,351 This (once) rising star isn't on the list for his recent roles in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Creed III—rather, it's because last week he was arrested and charged with assault and harassment. The ugliness of the accusations led to the United States Army removing him from a series of recruiting commercials he'd filmed, though there's no word on his future as the MCU's current big bad.
16 John Wick (film) 570,779 The film that started the franchise discussed in #3. It's impressive how successful John Wick has become when you consider that this one was nearly dumped direct-to-video because of how little confidence there was in it.
17 Cristiano Ronaldo 544,503 At 38 the Portuguese superstar is still scoring his goals for the national team in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying, and also broke a record with his 197th cap.
18 Justine Siegemund 533,928 Google homaged this midwife who wrote the first book on obstetrics by a woman's perspective (in the 17th century, when women barely even had access to education) as part of Women's Month.
19 Dasara (film) 506,150 As Pathaan left this list, let's go from Bollywood to Tollywood in this period action drama involving coal stealing and the eponymous festival/holiday.
20 Waco siege 486,422 Viewers of Netflix's docuseries Waco: American Apocalypse still search for the incident where a cult's refuge was raided by ATF agents.
21 Andrew Tate 463,174 The kickboxer/internet influencer/self-proclaimed misogynist, who's currently under investigation in Romania for human trafficking, was moved from pre-trial detention to house arrest on March 31. He still hasn't been indicted (to this user's displeasure), though prosecutors have until June to send the case to trial.
22 The Last of Us (TV series) 451,038 The inaugural season of this video game adaptation just finished.
23 Emily Ratajkowski 449,532 Remember the ruckus of the Harry Styles-Olivia Wilde relationship, even dragging down a movie with it? Well, it still resonates following Styles being seen kissing this model/actress (who ten years ago got famous for being in a very popular music video, that she has plenty of bad words about). Ratajkowski also accused her ex of being abusive.
24 Adam Sandler 447,991 The previous week, Sandler was awarded the Kennedy Center's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. This week he reminded us that at times he's very low effort in his comedies with the Netflix sequel Murder Mystery 2.
25 Succession (TV series) 437,649 #22 ended, leading HBO viewers to migrate to the fourth and final season of this show, and give its article enough views to keep April Fools' Day off this list.
