Lead engineer of a team of seven, responsible for all major technical decisions, recruitment, and maintaining a productive engineering culture. As an influencing and trusted engineer, his key achievements include:

• Technically lead Velocity OS Restaurant booking platform from an idea to its first customers
• Implemented back-end services and components, architectured the system and data models, reviewed all code deployed to production, created and maintained application servers and data stores
• Provided coaching and mentoring to other developers, defined their objectives and key achievements
• Lead off-site engineering days, created action plans and defined coding standards
• Gave many internal technical talks and organised brown bag sessions evangelising the work done
• Established Velocity's developer recruitment process, interviewed dozens of developers and made eight successful hires
• Continuously improved the tech stack and processes by introduced new programming languages and paradigms such as Python, functional programming, event driven services, message queues etc.
• As a rigorous advocate of lean start-up model, made significant contributions to feature design of Velocity OS
