Last week, we organized the first edition of the Deloitte CFO Program on Aruba and Curaçao. The Deloitte CFO Program is designed to help CFOs and future CFOs meet and exceed their growing list of demands. For this first event, special guest speaker Pieter van Dusseldorp – Manager Financial Risk from Deloitte the Netherlands – led a dynamic and interactive masterclass on sustainability and the relevance to our island communities. Sustainability if it comes to ESG impacts any business on the long term, especially on environmentally-vulnerable small island economies. This was supported by our local partner group who provided an outlook and lead the discussion on the challenges ahead of us. We can conclude a series of very successful events with the top financial leaders from different sectors on the island contributing to the discussion.
