    Having been a victim of identity theft in 2009, Tina Groll’s story is a powerful reminder of the real-world impacts of cyber-attacks and the importance of cybersecurity. 🔐🚨 During SHE Days—an annual on-site internal events at Henkel Düsseldorf focusing on Safety, Health, and Environmental protection— we had the privilege of hearing from the renowned journalist, who shared her personal and harrowing experience as a victim of cybercrime. Her name and birthday were unlawfully collected and used to place luxury orders she never made, leading to arrest warrants, visits from debt collectors, and a whole lot of stress. She dealt with endless communications with companies, police, and debt collectors. This uncertainty significantly affected her health, causing sleep deprivation, anxiety, and depression. Tina launched Identitätsdiebstahl.info, a platform providing crucial information for victims of identity theft. Many people have reached out to her, highlighting the importance of support and awareness. Katja Grenzner, Cyber Security Awareness Process Manager at Henkel, conducted an inspiring interview for an audience of Henkel colleagues.     🪞 Mirror, mirror on the wall 🪞 During a #DesignThinking workshop held by Henkel dx and the Hasso Plattner Institute, our colleagues tackled the "Redesign the Bathroom experience" challenge: transforming restrooms – as the name suggests – into spaces to rest. The team came up with the concept of smart mirrors: Embedded with #GenAI, the mirrors would allow users to chat about their day or receive style inspiration. The solutions were then tested by other employees, who provided user feedback. 🔃 In an increasingly fast-paced world, learning about #HumanCenteredDesign to solve real-life problems is crucial. It’s our focal point when we think about technology, both within Henkel and when creating digital solutions to improve the consumer experience.
