Thank you[edit]

Thanks for encouraging me to complete my first GA review :) SyntaxZombie (talk) 00:05, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, I'm glad to see it worked out in the end! Hope to see you again in the future (or maybe if you end up at the WP:DISCORD server) and certainly hope to see more GA reviews from you :D There should be a GAN drive some time later this year (probably in July; actually there will be another one at the end of the year). As someone who's always afraid of messing something up, I can recommend it, since other editors will double check your reviews to assign you points and hopefully award you with a barnstar like the one above. Though you don't have to wait if you wish to review something now. Also make sure to install User:Novem Linguae/Scripts/GANReviewTool, it trivializes the technical part of reviewing, so you don't need to manually edit all the pages to promote/fail a GAN. Have a great day! AstonishingTunesAdmirer 連絡 00:23, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! Great article about a fantastic album, by the way. I was planning to fix that small issue ever since an editor mass removed Acclaimedmusic links, but once someone mentioned that the article is running at TFA I had to do that. AstonishingTunesAdmirer 連絡 04:11, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to participate in WP:GARC[edit]

Hello, I noticed you have an article listed at WP:GAN. I recently started a project, Good Article Review Circles, and thought you might be interested. This initiative helps articles get reviewed more quickly through collaborative efforts. By joining, you'll review others' articles and get your own reviewed in return. Check out the page for more details!GMH Melbourne (talk) 08:21, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature[edit]

Would you consider reducing the padding in your signature? It's kind of disruptively large. For example, you could try [[User:AstonishingTunesAdmirer|AstonishingTunesAdmirer]] [[User talk:AstonishingTunesAdmirer|連絡]], which gets you AstonishingTunesAdmirer 連絡 – that's less disruptive, per WP:CUSTOMSIG/P. Cheers. Signed, a grumpy Wikipedian called Cremastra (talk)21:04, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Is this good? AstonishingTunesAdmirer 連絡 01:17, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

White Wolf magazine[edit]

Hi there. :) I know that issue #3 covered Skyrealms of Jorune on pages 3-7; sometimes the reviews of certain games also had mini-reviews for game supplements. Did you see any for the review of this game? If you're not sure, could you please share with me a copy of that review? If it definitely didn't cover any supplements, then I'm OK with not seeing for myself. BOZ (talk) 04:59, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! I'm unsure about mini-reviews, as I would have to read all the reviews to know. I searched "Jorune" and other than a bunch of ads the only results I got were: several "Segment Jorune" ("written for to help Game Masters bring their players to Jorune"; I didn't include these, since they are available over the Internet Archive, scroll down to the bottom), the review in #3, a review of Skyrealms of Jorune (Third Edition) in #33, and some feature/tutorial article in #34 written by "Dan Beyer of SkyRealms Publishing". Yes Sent you these. Obviously I might have missed something, so if you know an idea where else to look, let me know. AstonishingTunesAdmirer 連絡 09:41, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK thanks, I will go through these probably tomorrow to see if I have missed anything. :) BOZ (talk) 21:17, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I know that the reviews from issue #8 have been added to the corresponding games already: [1] but I'm seeing it could be helpful to go through them manually on my own to make sure we didn't miss anything. :) If you are able to share, we had The PBM corner on page 54, and then a reviews section from pages 56-61 covering the likes of Hawkmoon (role-playing game), Hidden Kingdom (role-playing game), Night of the Ninja (role-playing game), and Whimsy Cards. :) BOZ (talk) 14:35, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Sent. AstonishingTunesAdmirer 連絡 15:06, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, will take a look later today. :) The next issue had a whole lot of reviews that haven't been added yet, so I will get to that one sooner or later. :o BOZ (talk) 15:27, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so issue #9 [2] is something I can work on tomorrow, if you can share that one. It apparently has a long section of reviews from at least page 33-38 on games including Cyborg Commando, Top Secret, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and Phoenix Command, and then there is a capsule review section on page 54-55 for games like Ogre, Talisman, and more. After that, I really will take a little break from these. :) BOZ (talk) 06:12, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
