At EDICOM, we help to digitalize companies through the development of SaaS solutions (Software as a Service), automating and integrating the exchange of data (EDI), eliminating manual insertion errors and unnecessary use of paper worldwide. Our solutions and markets are growing, so we are looking to boost our creative strength and visual impact by recruiting a person for our Design team to take our brand and our SaaS solutions to a new level.

Task

Your Role

We need to incorporate a Design profile that is versatile and open to working in two design areas, namely graphic design and digital product design. If you are attracted by the challenge of developing your creative skills to promote our brand, and at the same time, you would like to develop your skills in the digital product area, this is for you.

Skills

You will be part of the Product Design and Branding team, so you’ll be able to develop your skills in two areas of design:

BRANDING

As Graphic Designer

• You will contribute to the further development of the company’s corporate Brandbook, establishing guidelines and ensuring the correct treatment of our brand in all areas of application.
• You will keep templates, branding material and any graphic resources that are available for common use in the organization up to date.
• You will design graphic resources necessary to contribute to the development of our corporate communication and employer branding. You will apply your creativity to draw up designs in different visual formats and in compliance with our brand style (banners, rollups, posters and signage, videos or designs of certain advertising pieces for events).
• You will layout company dossiers or documents, putting your editorial design skills into practice.
• You will review presentation design to support the needs of colleagues or managers who have to work on exhibitions and talks for events. It will be a plus if you have some experience with HTML/CSS and web design, because you will have to maintain corporate templates for signatures, e-mails and web content layout.
  
  

PRODUCT DESIGN

AS UX Designer And Product Designer

• You will be working with the team to develop our Design System and set out the guidelines for our products to be scalable and homogeneous.
• You will prototype in Figma to create necessary mock-ups and deliverables for development, as well as to reflect UI of components for our Design System.
• You will contribute to maintain the style manual of our products by making the appropriate technological innovation to be aligned with current design trends at all times.
• You will work using collaborative Design Thinking techniques to empathise with our users and clients.
• You will help find innovative solutions to design problems to improve the value proposition of our products.
• You will draw up UI/UX design proposals in the early stages of our services and share them with the Product Owner and the EDICOM Development Manager.
  
  

Requirements

What we are looking for in you:

• Fine Arts degree, Bachelor’s degree in Design and Creative Technologies or similar.
• Additional Master’s qualifications would be an asset.
• Knowledge in the fundamentals of UI/UX design, Web Design and Graphic Design.
• Handling of collaborative tools (ie: FigJam, Miro), Wireframes creation (ie: preferably Figma), graphic design (ie: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) and video editing tools (Premiere or similar).
• Experience in projects from the UX perspective, involving UX Research, competition study and user profile study.
• Disciplined person with great working capacity. Good communicator, decisive and approachable.
• Good level of English (B2 minimum).
• Knowledge or training in UX would be an asset.
• Academic records and/or possible professional experience will be appreciated.
• You are required to submit a portfolio of work related to Graphic Design or UI/UX Design that reflects not only the final result but also the creative process.
