Job Description

Essential Functions:

Demand Planning:

  • Lead the demand planning process to ensure accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Utilize statistical models and market insights to develop demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to incorporate market trends and business intelligence into forecasts.

S&OP Process Management:

  • Drive the monthly S&OP process to align supply and demand plans with business objectives.
  • Facilitate S&OP meetings, ensuring effective communication and decision-making across functions.
  • Develop and present S&OP performance metrics and reports to senior management.

Inventory and Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to balance supply with demand.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions and capacity constraints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, production, and logistics.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure alignment and effective execution of supply chain strategies.
  • Work closely with regional and global teams to align strategies and share best practices.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, inventory management, and S&OP effectiveness.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.

Systems and Tools Management:

  • Utilize advanced planning systems and tools (e.g., MSD, Farsight) to support demand planning and S&OP processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within planning systems.
  • Lead the implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance supply chain capabilities.

Logistics:

  • Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.


The Successful Applicant

What It Takes:

  • Extensive experience and understanding of inventory control, demand planning, and Logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize process flow to improve efficiency.
  • Cross - Functional project management experience.
  • First class collaborator, hands on leader driving improvements
  • Ability to coach, teach and mentor your colleagues.
  • Natural communicator with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong Facilitation skills change management experience.
  • Autonomous comfortable with remote management.

Qualifications, experience, knowledge:

  • High school degree is required.
  • Experience in the similar role 5 years+
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of excel.
  • MSD / D365 and power BI knowledge
