    🌟🌈 On July 9th, Artefact had the honor of hosting its second Rainbow Tech & AI Summit on the theme of "Building #TrustinAI Systems", in Amsterdam. The day was filled with engaging discussions and demonstrations that underscored the importance of trust and ethics in #AI development and deployment. We were privileged to begin the event with an introduction by Arnold Struik, Managing Partner of Artefact Benelux, and a compelling keynote by Ronald Bekker, Global Head of Talent Services at Randstad, who shared valuable insights on the intersection of AI and #talentmanagement. The stage was then taken by Brian Spaans, Head of Finance, and Ali el Hassouni, Head of Data & AI at bunq, who provided a fascinating look into how AI is transforming #financialservices. A highlight of the day was the hands-on demo of Fierté AI, the #GenAIassistant for #Diversity, #Equity, and #Inclusion (DE&I). The demo showcased the potential of AI to foster more inclusive environments. The event concluded with a thought-provoking "Devil's Advocate" session led by Sid Mohan, Director Data Science & Global Lead for Causal Research & MMM, with Natasha Govender-Ropert, PhD, Head of Modelling at ING Nederland and Expert in Residence at Kickstart AI. An image platform analyzes brain MRIs with precision, speeding up drug efficacy assessments, while AI for medical writing improves productivity and consistency across languages and regulatory requirements. - Servier emphasizes the importance of integrating AI talent with traditional R&D scientists. They have addressed cultural differences and now operate collaboratively, aiming to systematically scale #AIapplications across the company. - Servier has identified 40 high-value #usecases for AI in R&D and prioritized 18 for the next few years. AWS offers tailored #AImodels to ensure customers select the best fit for their needs. He assured that AWS keeps customer data private and encrypted, using advanced security measures to prevent unauthorized access and comply with extraterritorial laws. 🗣 “Your data is private. It’s encrypted every time and we never use it. We have built a system that prevents any AWS employee from accessing your data or connecting to the server. This technical impossibility ensures your data's security and protects against extraterritorial laws”, says Stephan. He concluded by explaining how AWS uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (#RAG) to combine generative AI with actual #data, minimizing hallucinations and ensuring accuracy. AWS safeguards against toxic content by filtering inappropriate questions.
