since the draft release, i mostly updated some devDependencies to fix the build. i also removed a setTimeout that was causing connection stability issues.

by moving electron from dependencies to devDependencies, the .app went from 545.9mb to 140.2mb. more work could probably bring that number down further.

i don't think this is a great release. there were some improvements, but PRs like #55 are probably needed before things feel super stable.

npm run build was failing, which seemed to be due to electron-packager being out of date. i updated both electron and electron-packager. there hasn't been much testing since.

for some reason, the .app is a whopping 545.9mb. there's gotta be room to pull that number down a whole lot.
