This was my first design to guide the tomato cherry plant and to support it in my own orchard. In the model we have 3 parts, the number two can be repeated the number of times you want to make the final rod taller (the model is modular and the pieces are embedded to each other).

Guide rods for cherry tomatoes

This was my first 3D design to guide the tomato cherry plant and to support it in my own orchard. In the model we have 3 parts, the number two can be repeated the number of times you want to make the final rod taller (the model is modular and the pieces are embedded to each other).

Dimensions of the pieces

  1. Piece one X: 10mm Y: 10mm Z: 160mm

  2. Piece two X: 10mm Y: 10mm Z: 160mm

  3. Piece three X: 10mm Y: 10mm Z: 145mm

Print Settings

Rafts: Yes

Supports: No

Infill: grating

Filament_brand: EOLAS

Filament_color: Cyan || Green || Yellow

Filament_material: PLA

Tips to print this model

To make more stable the print of the different pieces, I recommend to use a raft of type "border" with 20 lines, also enable the z hop retraction. Also I recommend to print all the pieces of the model at the same print. You could see some screenshots of my prints using cura and the final result. To avoid the use of supports I recommend to print the pieces in vertical.
