The Road Safety Authority (RSA) has shared the new General Safety Regulation (GSR2). As of the 7th July, all newly manufactured vehicles must adhere to mandatory advanced vehicle safety systems. The primary aim of these new safety features to reduce traffic collisions and protect road users. Are you NFD-ready? The National Fleet Database (NFD) submission deadline for fleet owners, managers, and motor traders to add their vehicles to the register is 30 November 2023. The new Road Traffic and Roads Act (2023) took effect on 31 July 2023, ensuring compliance with the EU Motor Directive(s). Under the legislation, all vehicles must be registered in the National Fleet Database (NFD). Make sure you don’t miss the date!
