Empowering Children, Transforming Communities: A CSR initiative of JCPenney India in partnership with World Vision India    We're thrilled to celebrate the incredible impact of our long-standing partnership with JCPenney Services India Pvt. Ltd. JCPenney deep passion for transformative change has driven various projects around India, empowering children, women, and communities since 2021.    This year, JCPenney CSR initiative has made a significant impact in Bellary, Karnataka, by transforming four schools and benefiting over 3,452 children. The project has provided improved infrastructure, including construction of new toilet and renovations of existing, handwashing stations, and clean water facilities with wall murals. Additionally, awareness programmes were conducted to enhance students' understanding of health and hygiene practices, encouraging them to apply these lessons in a well-equipped school environment. Children without age-appropriate reading abilities are now able to read and write better through the RECs (Remedial Education Centres) initiated by this project.     Rudramma, a 11-year-old’s story exemplifies the power of education as she overcame challenges with the help of our remedial centre. Today, she reads fluently, enjoys school, and dreams of a brighter future – a future where her education empowers her to take care of her grandmother.    Together with JCPenney, we're building a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.    #WorldVisionIndia #JCPenney #EducationEmpowerment #CommunityDevelopment Deepak Naidu Kannan Krishnan Loretta Maria Dilip Reddy Babitha Reddy D N Naveen Kumar Ramanathan Thiagarajan Godwin Devanesan Justish Anandan Tina Fernandez Matthew Issac
