ALM Analyst

Within the Group ALM and Investment Risk Assessment function we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team. The candidate will perform analyses based on quantitative ALM models to derive recommendations in terms of targets and constraints for the asset allocation strategy, ensuring an adequate matching of the liabilities, customers’ needs and products requirements within the Group and Local risk appetite.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Gather inputs, constraints, and sensitivities related to assets, liabilities, and relevant ALM and risk indicators to build a comprehensive overview of portfolios positioning
• Conduct analyses to project the expected evolution of ALM and risk indicators under various economic and operational scenarios
• Derive key indications and constraints to be incorporated into the Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) process
• Regularly monitor ALM and risk indicators to ensure continued alignment with established targets and constraints, and assess potential actions to maintain proper liability matching
• Develop and enhance ALM models for analyses both at Group and Local level
• Prepare and present ALM analyses to Senior Management

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Master’s degree in finance, actuarial science, financial engineering, statistics or similar quantitative field
• Over 3 years of experience in a financial, capital/risk management, or actuarial roles, preferably in insurance or consulting
• Knowledge and experience in: life valuation metrics and actuarial models, financial modeling and capital markets’ instruments, Solvency II framework, IFRS 9/17 accounting principles and insurance regulation
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Proactive, with strong collaboration abilities and teamwork skills
• Good presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage stress and work effectively in a dynamic international environment

Nice to have:

• CFA, PhD or Actuarial Certification
• Coding skills in one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, R or Prophet
