Are you a seasoned Business Intelligence professional with a passion for fintech innovation? We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Intelligence Lead to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance our business performance.

At Scalapay, you'll lead a dynamic team, develop cutting-edge BI strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have an exceptional ability to analyze data, a strategic vision, and the expertise to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. As the Business Intelligence Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and business performance improvements across Scalapay.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI analysts;
• Define and implement the overall BI strategy aligned with Scalapay’s business goals;
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the organization;
• Act as a support partner to various business departments, helping them leverage data to achieve their goals and optimize their operations.
  
  

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for collecting, processing, and analyzing data;
• Create, manage, and deliver insightful and actionable BI reports and dashboards;
• Conduct deep-dive analysis to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for business growth.
  
  

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to understand their data needs and deliver relevant insights;
• Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on data-driven strategies and performance metrics;
• Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Data Governance and Quality:

• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data across all business systems and processes;
• Implement and oversee data governance policies and best practices;
• Drive data quality initiatives to continually improve data reliability and usability.
  
  

Tool and Technology Management:

• Evaluate and implement BI tools and technologies to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities;
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Scalapay’s BI infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a BI, data analytics, or similar role, preferably within fintech or a high-growth technology company;
• Strong expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar;
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages used in data analysis;
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing analytical teams;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders;
• Proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights.
