Group Head of Corporate Security

Within the Group Chief Security Officer Function, the Group Head of Corporate Security mission is to protect Generali’s employees, buildings, assets and brand, to identify and mitigate potential risks and guarantee the highest level of corporate and physical security across the Group by developing and implementing regulations, managing crisis response, and ensuring the security of our sites, business travel, events, and security intelligence.

We are currently looking for a talented professional to join the team as Group Head of Corporate Security.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Ensure the adoption and the implementation of the Group Security Strategy with a focus on Corporate & Physical Security activities
• Define policies and technical measures and guarantee the adoption at Group level
• Ensure Corporate and Physical Security regulations adoption at Group level and manage their implementation
• Define the Group Crisis Management Model and lead the response in case of crisis at Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. and Group level
• Define and implement Travel Security model at Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. level and support adoption across the Group
• Manage Physical Security of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. sites
• Manage security aspects in most relevant Corporate events (e.g. Shareholders’ meeting, GLG member meeting etc.)
• Perform business intelligence activities
• Maintain relations and networking with Italian and International Law Enforcement, Consular Authorities, Embassies, etc.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• At least 10 years’ experience in Corporate Security in international group or major consulting firms. Specific experience in financial services industry would be a plus
• At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial position
• Leadership skill and able to communication with senior executives
• Strategic mindset and deep understanding on new technology trends and their implementation
• Effective management of Corporate Security incidents and Crisis Committee
• Ability to work in complex organization and deal with multiple stakeholders
• Degree-level education
• Work experience within Law Enforcement would be a plus
• Desired certifications on Information Security
