Corporate leaders are facing mounting pressure to reduce costs. BCG’s proven framework can deliver cost reduction that improves operations and is sustainable over time. According to BCG’s Namit Puri: “Accelerated margin advantage is not about enhancing a few points of profitability. It is about creating “fuel” for breakout growth, investing in new strategic frontiers, and creating competitive advantage. Today's ever-changing economic and geopolitical landscape means that companies are faced with unexpected turbulence. The BCG toolkit offers not just a significant one-time impact but also creates muscle for sustained results as the surrounding landscape inevitably evolves.” Learn more about BCG’s four principles for cost excellence: https://on.bcg.com/4bBdUjQ

At last week's Breakthrough Energy Summit, BCG's Sonya Hoo sat down with Jason Trusley, SVP and Chief Strategy Officer at Land O'Lakes, Inc.', to discuss sustainability in the food and agriculture industries. It's not enough to have a sustainability strategy. Food and agriculture industries must focus on creating value by demonstrating the economic and financial benefits for farmers, companies, and governments. Investing in sustainability doesn't mean higher consumer prices. The challenge is funding the transition to regenerative agriculture without causing inflation, requiring industry-wide collaboration. Driving practice changes at the farm level is essential for a sustainable future. Learn more about BCG's work in agribusiness industry: https://lnkd.in/eDXut4wT

We are proud to announce that BCG has been named a Leader in Innovation Consulting Services by Forrester, an independent research firm that assesses top vendors in the market. The report recognizes BCG for its “multidisciplinary innovation practice with deep data and accelerator assets” and its “ability to create C-suite alignment, applying rigorous innovation measurement and providing sector-specific innovation talent.” In Forrester’s assessment, BCG was the only vendor to receive the highest possible score (5.00) in the ‘Approach: Innovation Thought Leadership’ criterion. In particular, Forrester cited BCG’s Center for Growth and Innovation Analytics (GIA) and BCG’s flagship Most Innovative Companies report, which evaluates and explains the state of corporate innovation and has been published annually since 2005. BCG has developed a comprehensive approach to help companies identify and quantify opportunities to reduce nonpersonnel costs, select targets and improvement measures, and sustain their gains. According to BCG’s Jacopo Piccolo Brunelli: “Nearly a decade after its release, ‘Uncovering Cost Drivers to Achieve Sustained Improvements’ remains an essential resource for reducing nonpersonnel SG&A costs – an opportunity for cost improvement that remains untapped by many companies. Our recent research shows that sustainable cost management is a top priority for CEOs. Streamlining SG&A can be a quick route to sustainably reduce costs. Measures typically require minimal investment and are relatively easy to implement – and can be more readily accepted within organizations as they avoid cuts to core business activities. The workforce can remain intact while the business reaps cost savings, making strategic cuts to streamline operations without stalling the momentum of business growth.” Learn more about BCG’s four principles for cost excellence: https://on.bcg.com/4eLCNfy
