Viktor&Rolf ‘Haute Abstraction’ Autumn/Winter 2024/2025 Haute Couture The collection showcases 23 unique silhouettes, created from the desire to express a certain absurdism. It consists of sculptural garments that take Viktor&Rolf's abstract approach to silhouette to the maximum. The exploration of the couture silhouette runs like a red thread through Viktor&Rolf’s body of work. Geometric shapes inspire the creation of new and abstract designs, including panniers, shoulder pads, collars, and necklines. A wealth of contrasting colors and prints emphasizes and gives autonomy to each element within these lighthearted outfits. They form spontaneous and slightly absurd compositions, blending elements of clothing with abstraction, aiming to clear the viewer's mind from the past and encourage free exploration #viktorandrolf

For Spring/Summer 2025, fashion artists Viktor&Rolf unveil their latest Mariage collection, offering a curated selection of bridalwear with a contemporary edge. Their sculptural designs accentuated with embroideries featuring this season’s flower bouquet detailing and hand-cut camellia flowers. Gowns are meticulously crafted from scintillating beaded fabric and adorned with the iconic Viktor&Rolf bows.   Bridalwear remains a common thread throughout Viktor&Rolf's collections, as Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren express, 'We have always been fascinated by the wedding dress because it is a small universe in itself. It is an icon of the most wonderful moments in life'.   This collection is produced in partnership with Justin Alexander, an esteemed international bridalwear designer and manufacturer. For more than three decades, Dutch fashion artists Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have been exploring the boundaries between the worlds of haute couture and art. Reflecting the duo’s passions, obsessions and singular vision, the exceptional presentation will showcase 100 of their most daring creations—many exhibited for the first time—from the designers’ own archive as well as important private collections. ‘Viktor&Rolf Scissorhands’ Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 Viktor&Rolf proposes 28 all-black, signature silhouettes, shown in 7 groups of 4. The first look of each group - a flawless couture outfit, meticulously finished by hand - serves as a blueprint and starting point for 3 consecutive iterations of the same design. Each of which investigates the creative (im)possibilities of a pair of tailor's scissors, when used spontaneously to experiment with decorative cutting. From minuscule holes in a rorschach motif to a ballgown hacked in half: holes and slashes are controlled and directed but also form instances of orchestrated chaos. #viktorandrolf
