I would like to create a Mailchimp template with a dynamic and unique link in it for each recipient.

This link is obtained by doing an async request to an external API with specific parameters. The result is a JSON object with a URL, which has to be injected in a link in Mailchimp template.

I subscribed to Mailchimp free plan, browsed all provided options, made hours of internet research, but I could not find anything relevant.

Mailchimp technical support did not help either. They shared page https://mailchimp.com/en/help/create-unique-urls-for-subscribers/, but it will not help to achieve what I want.

Is there a way to use result of an external API to populate Mailchimp templates?
