This article explains how you can reactivate a suspended Google Workspace account. These steps only work if you purchased your Google Workspace subscription through Google Domains.
If your automatic payment method was unsuccessful for more than 10 days, Google suspends your Google Workspace service. In these cases, you must update your payment method and pay any outstanding balance on your account.
Important: If you purchased your Google Workspace subscription directly from Google Workspace, you must use the Admin Console to reactivate your account. If you don't have Admin access to your Workspace account, you can recover administrator access. After that, update your payment method in the Admin Console. Then, pay any outstanding balance. If your account has been suspended, you can restore it.
How to reactivate a suspended Google Workspace subscription
Use the following instructions to unsuspend your Google Workspace subscription through Google Domains:
- Sign in to Google Domains.
- Select the name of your domain.
- Click Menu
Email.
- Click Go to Google Workspace settings or Manage Google Workspace subscription
- Pay the outstanding balance as prompted.
