At Acubed, we've been providing flight briefing services and authorization services through LAANC for over 5 years. Through this work, we've learned a ton about the market and are incredibly proud of the role we've played in establishing an innovative business model that can transform how digital services are used in aerospace. As key contributors to the UTM program at Airbus, we are now turning our attention to simulating the future digital airspace ecosystem to facilitate increasingly complex operations. With that transition, we are sunsetting our commercial services. Join us in celebrating some of the incredible milestones we hit along the way, including: - Serving over 10,000 users through our customers (e.g. DroneDeploy, AirData, etc.) - Managing over 160,000 flight plans (U.S., Australia, Canada, Japan) - Providing more than 24,000,000 airspace briefings - Granting of more than 166,000 LAANC authorizations for controlled airspace The future of UTM is bright and we remain committed to being an active member of this community. We're pleased to introduce a timely new in-house exploration called Advanced Visual Intelligence for Assembly, AVIA for short, as part of our quest to apply #AI to #aerospace #manufacturing in meaningful ways. With AVIA, we are exploring the use of #computervision to better assess and improve processes, quality and safety in commercial aircraft production, gathering data on manual processes as they happen to enable teams to better understand how they are progressing in the production schedule. Current projections anticipate AVIA improving manual task efficiency by several minutes per worker per day or more. Across all Airbus’ production lines and 10s of thousands of skilled workers, that could result in 100+ million euros saved yearly.
