AKF and Ubie have announced a collaboration focused on assessing and fine-tuning Ubie's Symptom Checker disease prediction AI to help drive patients to faster diagnosis, allowing them to receive faster treatment earlier in the disease, improving outcomes. The American Kidney Fund has published new patient-focused guidelines to help people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) manage and treat hyperkalemia, also known as high potassium. Kidney disease is the most common cause of hyperkalemia, a serious and potentially life-threatening condition that can cause an irregular heartbeat or a heart attack.
