Our water response #Gaza is made possible with support from our community and partners, such as United Nations OCHA. With their support, we have installed a total of 38 tanks.
Water update from Gaza 💧 We successfully installed 22 tanks so far in Al Mawasi, Rafah. The tanks supplies 60,000 liters of water, enough to serve 20,000 people. Each water tank was strategically placed to ensure that each person receives 3 liters of potable water per day. Thank you to United Nations OCHA for supporting this effort. ➡️ Head to our website for today’s full update: https://lnkd.in/gTHYdjm4

Today marks 284 days of continuous terror in Gaza, which has destroyed entire families and has left an inevitable stain on humanity. Since early October, 70% of UNWRA schools have been bombed. More than 38,000 people have been killed, and it’s estimated that more than half of those killed are women and children. There are reports and images of children dying from malnutrition. With one failed peace talk after another, the destruction only grows, alongside the inhumanity and suffering. It is our collective responsibility to ensure we continue to talk about Gaza. Share, speak up, donate and #DontForgetGaza.

Life-saving hemophilia medications are now within reach thanks to Direct Relief and PQMD! Together, we’ve supported over 200 patients in Lebanon, ensuring they receive the care they deserve. Meet John, who was diagnosed at seven months and is now thriving at seven years old. Health and hope are here to stay. #HealthcareForAll #Hemophilia #Lebanon Sean C. Carroll

This just in from our pharmacist in #Gaza: A bomb struck just 50 meters from our clinic in Khan Younis while it was operational. 17 were killed. Our team provided first aid to those wounded in the attack, before ambulances arrived to take them to Naser Hospital in Khan Younis. #DontForgetGaza

Please do not forget #Gaza. Raise awareness, donate to organizations like Anera and continue to call for a ceasefire. #DontForgetGaza Image description: The conditions in Gaza are horrific. People are desperate for food, the average resident has lost 12% of their body weight, heart disease has spiked and residents lack durable shelter. One of our staff members reports that the temperature of his tent reached 107 degrees Fahrenheit. We ask the world to not forget Gaza.

Produce within Gaza is scarce, but support from our partners and community helps us supply food to displaced families. One of these partners is Helping Hand USA. Their team has been instrumental in helping us feed 25,000 people in #Gaza. If you want to support our food assistance program in Gaza, donate at anera.org/gaza-emergency
