It was an honor to speak at the AYAC conference last week with Ashley Peña We were able to share on the topic of teens, technology and taboos. We discussed how our approach, along with the topics we address with teens at Mission Prep and Mission Connection Teen may be seen as taboo. Not only do we allow weekly access to their devices, we also discuss topics such as sexual identity and boundaries (think sending and receiving nudes) and how to create your digital brand.
