The Section was established to provide a forum where Civil Engineers could meet to expand their technical knowledge, discuss and exchange ideas concerning professional and technical matters, and participate in social functions.

***Volunteers Needed*** The University of Akron ASCE Student Chapter is hosting the 2024 Eastern Great Lakes Symposium from April 4th-6th! We are expecting hundreds of students from Michigan and Ohio colleges/universities to travel to Akron to compete. In order to host such a large event, we need volunteers of any skill level to help out. The deadline to sign up and get a free t-shirt has been extended to March 8th! Please consider helping, even for just a couple hours, and then stick around to watch some amazing competitions!
