Today, we're excited to welcome Sandeep Samant to the Atomicwork team. Sandeep is joining us from Sequoia, where he was part of the data science team, helping them build the Sequoia People Platform that employee-first organizations use to manage everything across HR, compensation, and benefits. He was key in developing AI-driven chatbots that generated insights from workforce data and helped businesses make impactful decisions. Sandeep has nearly five years of experience as a data scientist and holds a master's degree in data science from RWTH Aanches University. He has a versatile set of skills and excels at projects involving machine learning, generative AI, data modeling, and product development. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and playing the guitar. Sandeep will join our AI engineering team at Atomicwork and work closely with our product management and development teams to expand the goals of our next-gen assistant. Welcome to the team, Sandeep! Last year, Gartner retired the 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐓𝐒𝐌 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞. The ITSM marketplace has been so static of late that it wasn’t worth the investment to keep researching and publishing the MQ. The space, however, is seeing a disruption and we think it’ll look a lot different by the time the ITSM MQ makes a comeback. So, Sairam Krishnan and Sajeesh Sahadevan conducted a virtual session on ‘𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐈𝐓𝐒𝐌 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 2024’ for the Atomicwork community. They discussed: 📈 The major trends in the ITSM software landscape (including AI) 🔍 A framework for evaluating and choosing the right solution in 2024 In case you missed the live session and are out in the market scouting for ITSM tools (or are stuck with a legacy tool), catch the recording here: https://lnkd.in/gkYhzjwF

One of the most underrated applications of enterprise AI is 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. AI is a game changer for transforming enterprise workflows from manual if-this-then-that rules to intelligent and contextual automation. ❌ The former is limited by the admin’s imagination and gets bloated over time with redundant workflows and edge cases. ✅ 𝐀𝐭𝐨𝐦, our AI assistant understands the natural language requests from employees and automates tasks like password resets, app provisioning, and a lot more through platforms like Azure AD (now Entra ID), Okta, Workday, etc. Earlier this year, we announced our partnership with Cohere to power Atom and AI-powered workflow automation. Cohere’s models have been instrumental in helping Atomicwork customers seamlessly automate their workflows. Now, Vijay Rayapati, CEO of Atomicwork and Ivan Zhang, Co-founder and CTO of Cohere are coming together to unpack how Atomicwork leverages Cohere’s models to automate business processes and IT operations. If you’re an IT leader responsible for improving productivity and streamlining business and IT operations, join us on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, 2:00 PM EDT / 11:00 AM PDT. Community and Thought Leadership at Atomicwork

“𝐈𝐬 𝐀𝐈 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐈𝐓 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐣𝐨𝐛𝐬?” Yes, but not in the way you might be thinking. IT will 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 need humans on the support side. Users will rely on AI assistants for general queries and simple issues. For complex, critical, or urgent issues, they'll need to talk to someone. So, how do humans in IT work together with AI? We invited Roy Atkinson to share his views on the topic. I would highly recommend you watch the full webinar, but in a nutshell, “Humans and AI have unique strengths”. They complement each other far more than they compete, at least as of today. I’ve published a detailed post about Roy's session on the Atomicwork blog: https://lnkd.in/gC6UuSwV If you’d prefer to watch the session recording, skip to the end to find the link. If you find it useful, share it with your IT team. You never know who might be grappling with the question that I posed above. On that note, we’ve invited an IT veteran who is passionate about mental health in IT to share his insights next week. I’ll share more about the session soon.
