If you are looking to increase #engagement lean into optical illusions! You can see claims of #3D displays all over LinkedIn. Of course, none of them are truly 3D. Instead, they are al various forms of optical illusions. And that's great! Our brains love optical illusions. We love the friction of seeing something we know isn't possible right before our eyes. So, whether its the use of forced perspective in those giant #LED displays, a simple reflection in #PeppersGhost, or good old-fashioned drop shadows like we used in our display below, embrace illusions and engage your audience.

To paraphrase Dr Seuss, "It all began with a keyboard on a wall. A keyboard on a wall shouldn't be there at all!" But it turns out that a keyboard on a wall should absolutely be there! Especially if you link it up with a nice big projector. We put one up at the studio and immediately began finding fresh ways to activate the experience. Our team uses the keyboard as a springboard for creativity and our guests are entertained while waiting for the elevator. #experiential doesn't have to be complicated and sometimes all it takes is a keyboard on the wall. #projectionmapping #lobby

Why are records so popular again and what can a record player teach us about #experiential design? We put a record player in our office about a year ago. This was initially because David Title needed to relocate some of his LPs to make room for his daughter's rapidly expanding collection of "kid stuff." Once we had it all set up, the record player became a key player in our office experience and has taught us the following: - "Endless options" is not a good thing. When trying to decide as a team what music to stream next it takes forever. We could pick anything! It's paralyzing and often leads to some sort of bland compromise. We the records, we take turns flipping manually through maybe 100-200 total albums. We consider each knowing the options are limited. This process of consideration and limitation leads to choices that feel more purposeful and thus the results are more enjoyable. - Physical actions lead to higher engagement. With the record player there are a bunch of super satisfying physical actions. The best one is dropping the needle and hearing that first crackle. Then there's the responsibility of flipping the record which does come with the bonus of getting the drop the needle. Even the removing and replacing of the records in their sleeves feels like an act of care for something important. - Finally, a dash of illusion can really seal the deal. In this case we added a bit of #projectionmapping to our record player. This elevates it from a simple audio device to a full-fledged experience that gives our team a smile and attracts our guests to take a closer look; perhaps pick a record and put it on.

When it comes to events, it is important to make an entrance! And that's just what our team did for the YouTube Grammy party, transforming a lowly loading dock into a VIP entrance that quickly became a popular photo op! Do you need some help to make an entrance? Let's chat! #projectiomapping #events #activations

When you say you are an #experiential #production company you can't just have people step off the elevator and into just another office. That's why we're constantly playing with various forms of responsive and interactive displays right in our lobby. When folks arrive at Bravo they know right away that "experiential" is far more than a talking point for us. What message are you sending to folks as they arrive at your place of work? Ready for a transformation? Let's chat!
