We are proud to announce that the US Navy has granted Bunker Supply a Phase II SBIR for the continued development of our Naval Aircrew Emergency Armor Release (NACEAR) system! During Phase I, Bunker successfully developed a prototype for a universally compatible plate carrier insert that allows naval aircrewmen to quickly jettison hard armor plates in emergency situations. Throughout the development process, Bunker worked closely with the US Navy to validate the system’s efficacy. We look forward to the opportunity of advancing this life saving technology further throughout this next phase. With solar charging capabilities and a reliable battery to extend mission runtime, the EdgeRelay extends goTenna mesh networks. Tested to over 100 miles point-to-point, EdgeRelays can be connected together to create hundreds of square miles of coverage without expensive and cumbersome installations.
