Introducing the Chair of Chrysalis Center’s 20th Butterfly Bash: Janet Hilliard Porriello! Chrysalis Center is excited to announce that Janet Hilliard Porriello will serve as the Chair of the 20th Butterfly Bash, our premiere fundraising event. Janet is a retired Human Resources Leader who brings her extensive professional skills to support and enrich the fundraising efforts of this year’s Butterfly Bash. She has served in a leadership role for this event for the past six years. Beyond her dedication to fundraising for several Greater Hartford nonprofits, Janet enjoys spending time with her adult children and pets, traveling, staying active, socializing with friends, and working on her evolving golf game. On June 13, the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS) proudly supported Chrysalis Center, Inc. by kicking off the 2024 Freshplace Fresh Food, Fresh Start Summer Food Collection! Thanks to the generosity of the CTMEETINGS members and partners, they collected an amazing 604.6 lbs. of non-perishable food items at their Annual Meeting, all donated to Freshplace.
