CONCACAF has joined forces with the Generation Amazing Foundation to foster football development across the region. As part of Concacaf’s Bigger Game Social Responsibility strategy, 2024 marks the second year of this transformative initiative, culminating in a two-day celebration of sport and community in Belize which took place earlier this year. Concacaf and Generation Amazing remain committed to building a long-term football infrastructure that not only cultivates talent but also promotes social values among young people. Local coaches engaged in intensive training sessions over a two-day period. These sessions were specifically designed to equip coaches with the necessary tools to create positive impacts within their communities through football. The festival play, a highlight of the event, saw these newly trained coaches bring their learnings to life, facilitating engaging and fun activities for over 600 children and 50 coaches from local communities. By the next FIFA Men’s World Cup in 2026, Generation Amazing expects that all 41 Concacaf Member Associations will have benefitted from the programme, touching the lives of 100,000 children and empowering 1,000 coaches. #FootballForSocialChange #Concacaf #GenerationAmazing Nasser Al-Khori https://lnkd.in/ex-jyWau

CONCACAF recently held its 2024 Congress in beautiful Guadeloupe, with a fantastic agenda of meetings and activities involving all 41 Concacaf Member Associations, the Concacaf Council, and delegates from across the region. While our President could not attend due to the unexpected and very unfortunate passing of his father, on behalf of the entire Confederation, he sent his gratitude to President Jean Dartron and his team at the Ligue Guadeloupéenne de Football for their warm hospitality. #OneConcacaf https://lnkd.in/e7tASKE9

We're thrilled to announce the expansion of America SCORES' operations into Miami with the launch of Miami SCORES Powered by Concacaf, the 13th and newest affiliate member of the international nonprofit. America SCORES is a leading youth development organization providing high-need youth with free after-school programming combining soccer, poetry, and service-learning, serving over 15,000 students annually through this innovative program across 13 cities in North America. The expansion of this new chapter in Miami was made possible through significant support from Concacaf, one of FIFA’s six continental confederations, which is responsible for supporting its 41 member federations to develop the sport at all levels across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The launch event, held at Earlington Heights Elementary School on Tuesday, June 4, saw the attendance of over 200 students. Concacaf General Secretary Philippe Moggio, who was present at the launch, expressed his excitement about Concacaf’s involvement as the lead program sponsor, stating, “At Concacaf, we believe in the power of soccer - or football as we call it – to inspire and uplift communities. The launch of Miami SCORES Powered by Concacaf is a testament to our commitment to supporting youth development through this beautiful game. We are proud to partner with America SCORES to bring this impactful program to Miami’s young people.” #Concacaf #FIFA #FIFAFoundation #AmericaSCORES #MiamiSCORES https://lnkd.in/ephXucr2
