CSUN Business Analytics Students Participate in Manhattan College Business Analytics Competition Our talented undergraduate Business Analytics students recently showcased their skills at the prestigious Business Analytics Competition organized by Manhattan College. The competition challenged them to dive deep into the CMS data of nursing homes across the US. Key Insight: Through rigorous analysis, our students discovered that profitable nursing homes are more likely to have assisted living facilities. This finding is particularly interesting because, contrary to common expectations that nursing homes primarily generate profit from patient services, they actually derive significant revenue from assisted living operations. We are incredibly proud of our students, Olena Bushovska, Sihan Cai, and David Gukasyan, for their dedication, hard work, and for representing CSUN in the national competition.
