There's still so much confusion over #obesity and #GLP-1s, particularly related to coverage. Just last week BC of Michigan announced that they will no longer cover GLP-1s for weight management. With the help of many experts, we created the Obesity Management Framework https://lnkd.in/eJYbe_Xg The goal is to enable employers to consider how comprehensive obesity care, including AOMs (anti-obesity medications), impacts their business. We hope it will foster important discussions between employers and their health plan, pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) and third-party vendors around ongoing coverage for obesity.
