We celebrated our third annual Gather on the Green event last week in Boston as well as our first event in Vegas earlier this month! These events were created to build a sense of belonging for our employees and raise money for local charities selected by our internal Business Resource Groups. I am blown away by the hundreds of employees who came out to support and donate to these great charities! Customer Centricity: As a military commander, I embraced leading from the front and by example. This experience taught me the value of setting a high degree of precision and excellence in everything my team and I did. This has continued to shape who I am and has greatly influenced my role at DraftKings. As part of DraftKings Customer Centricity month, where we highlight the importance of making the customer the center of everything we do, I hosted a conversation for our employees with Marie Donoghue , Chief Business & Growth Officer DraftKings Inc.. A few key takeaways: 1. No matter your business, focusing on the customer will always steer you in the right direction and help fuel your company's growth. 2. Never take your eye off the customer. Are you meeting their expectations? How can you continue to innovate your product based on continuous feedback? 3. The more we can all learn and share internally, the better the product will be externally.
