#Students and #RecentGrads: Big changes to the federal government's #PathwaysPrograms take effect today to boost opportunities for early career talent such as you! Here are some of the highlights: -Agencies can now hire #RecentGraduates at a GS-11 starting salary instead of being limited to a GS-09 starting salary, affording enhanced flexibility to applicants and agencies.   -Applicant eligibility for the Recent Graduates program has expanded to include individuals who may or may not have college degrees, but who have completed qualifying career or technical education programs, including Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Job Corps, and Registered Apprenticeships.  -Agencies can now convert #interns to a permanent federal position after they complete a minimum of 480 hours in their internship, instead of 640 hours.   Check out the complete list of changes, with which federal agencies must be in full compliance no later than December 9, 2024: https://lnkd.in/ekdbrfD8

Looking for a job at a specific agency? Filter by department or agency! • Go to “Top Filters” located on the right side of the search results page. • Scroll down and click “Department & Agency”. • Click “Agency”. • Use the A-Z list to find the agency (or agencies) – we only show agencies with available jobs. • Select the checkbox next to each agency you want to search. You can select more than one. • Your search results will update automatically as you select each agency. You can also search by typing an agency in the keyword search box.

    • This image is of the USAJOBS portal. At the top in the keyword box, it reads "economist" and job results display economist positions, specifically in the agencies requested by the search filters. On the side of the page are the different search filters, including agency and department filters surrounded by a red box. It is highlighting "Department of Agriculture" and "Department of the Air Force" positions.

Did you know you could make your resume searchable? Making your resume searchable adds it to the USAJOBS resume bank. Recruiters from federal agencies use the resume bank to look for people to fill their job vacancies. Plus, when your resume is searchable and you have completed your profile, your profile is searchable too. To make your resume searchable: • Sign into USAJOBS and go to your Profile. • Go to “Documents”—your resumes will appear in your Documents. • Click “Searchable” on the resume you want to make searchable—if your profile is complete, your resume will become searchable as well.

    • This image is on USAJOBS. It is specifically in the USAJOBS Dashboard, under the "Documents" tab. The image shows the "Documents" section, with a reminder to make your resume searchable on top. It has 2 resumes already uploaded, with the second resume marked as "searchable" at the bottom. There is a red box around the word "searchable."
