The Klorane Botanical Foundation, Klorane, and KidsGardening are thrilled to partner again to offer the 2024 Budding Botanist Grant. In 2024, twenty schools will be awarded $500 each. Public, private, or charter schools that are planning a new or expanding an existing school garden program designed to teach students about environmental sustainability and the importance of biodiversity are eligible. https://lnkd.in/d_BP44Tf

We partnered with Wyman's to offer grants to 35 organizations using gardens to teach youth about the importance of #pollinators. We were so impressed by all the wonderful entries into this Bee Wild Contest! It was amazing to see so many dream pollinator gardens, as well as the enthusiastic adults willing to make garden dreams come true.  https://lnkd.in/eNEn5UE8

Together Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day and KidsGardening are announcing the new Lots of Compassion grant winners, designed to support local leaders looking to transform vacant lots into gardens to help grow compassion in their community. In 2023, 10 grantees will receive $20,000 each to transform a vacant lot into a garden connecting more than 23,000 people to gardening!

We're thrilled to announce that we were recently chosen for the @USDA Food & Nutrition Service as a 2023 Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant grantee. Our “Celebrating Cultural Inclusion in the School Garden” project will teach educators, particularly in historically underserved communities, how to develop school garden programs that celebrate the diversity of their students by highlighting culturally significant foods and agricultural practices. https://lnkd.in/eDC6D_9g
