    FOUNDER REGRETS ❌ Episode II: Put more energy into partnerships (outside of HubSpot) 🤝 Software re-seller partnerships are one of the lifelines of being a B2B service provider. In most cases, it's a source of qualified leads and typically has a speedy sales process. 😅 At one point in time, WORQFLOW was a software re-seller partner with nearly every company in the HubSpot ecosystem: Chili Piper, Aircall, Salesmsg, Kixie, PandaDoc, Docusign, CallRail, Zapier, Databox, Supered⚡, monday.com, Asana, hapily and probably some others. 🧠 Here is the regret: I didn't put enough time and energy into existing relationships before I looked to create new ones. This resulted in a lack of technical fluency and added fuel to our "say yes to all work types because we want the revenue" fire. 🗣 Looking back, I should have focused on one provider that I felt was technically capable and supportive of our partnership. I found through trial and error that many software companies tend to abuse partner relationships and just want to be sent leads from their CRM. 🧡 If I were a new HubSpot partner beginning my journey, I would focus on building relationships with Kixie, PandaDoc, Supered⚡ and hapily. These three companies were by far the best for a multitude of reasons: 1️⃣ They invest time into your growth as a partner, they want to find ways to co-market and co-sell together. Not just trade leads. 2️⃣ Dedicated training and education (usually from your dedicated POC) for your team on their platform. This was super valuable because it gave us insight into the product roadmap and made us true experts in their systems. 3️⃣ Your success is their success, and they want to arm you with resources and relationships to guide you in the right direction. Big shoutouts to the people behind the scenes at each of these companies doing amazing work: David Chang, Zoë Zankowski, Slav Yanov, Max Cohen 🧔🏻, Dax Miller
