We can host group sizes as intimate as 2 participants or as large as 120 participants. Our experiences are 3 hours long, very hands-on and require no prior experience. Trained blacksmiths guide the participants as they heat, hammer and work metal into their very own hand forged object - such as a horseshoe knife, metal chopsticks, a bottle opener or a BBQ fork - that they get to bring home the very same day! Hosting a team-building event at a blacksmith forge isn't typically the first idea that comes to mind in general , let alone when the temperature climbs close to 90 degrees. However, coincidentally, we had two Capital One teams attend our Bottle Opener class yesterday, and it was a blast! The 60-plus participants paired up, eagerly taking turns hammering steel bars into functional bottle openers. They couldn’t wait to show off their creations at the happy hour later that evening. The Capital One teams not only demonstrated their ability to withstand the heat but also their readiness to embrace challenges with open-mindedness and a collaborative spirit, showcasing their resilience and adaptability as a cohesive unit. Teaching their class was an absolute delight; we had so much fun together!! If you think your team is tough, we challenge you all to take a class at our shop!
