Our state of the art dispatch center is the nucleus of the operation and brings together all the different resources and skills for seamless organ recovery transportation. With just one call from your staff to our experienced team, every detail and logistic is quickly and efficiently expedited so your staff can concentrate on what they do best, saving lives. By utilizing state of the art communications equipment, our field employees are always within reach. In line with NORA's impressive expansion throughout the first half of 2024, we are delighted to welcome Tom Racek, M.F.A. as the Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance Creative Director. Tom holds a bachelor's degree in Film and Hispanic Studies from Vassar College, an MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology. His extensive background in film and creative advising enriches our team with invaluable expertise. Throughout his career, Tom has collaborated with esteemed directors such as James Gunn, Jim Jarmusch, Guy Nattiv, and Kit Vinsick. He also served as a creative advisor to the Chairman and CEO of Cinemark. His accomplishments include winning a Gold Level Film Festival for his impactful documentary on Living Kidney Donors who climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro⛰️. Since 2020, Tom has contributed to several projects at NORA in a freelance capacity. We are thrilled to have him join us and highlight the important and ever-growing need for donation and transplantation as NORA continues to advance and shape the transplant landscape. Tom currently resides in Little Rock with his cherished cat and dog. When not immersed in creative projects, you can find him exploring mountains or enjoying the tranquility of a lake.

Wrapping up and heading home after an incredible Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) Annual Conference! These conferences are vital for the growth and development of our field. Not only do they provide an amazing opportunity to connect with colleagues and build relationships on an international level, but they also foster growth and learning as a leadership team and organization. I was particularly proud to see and listen to two vital members of our leadership team present and talk about the amazing things We Are Sharing Hope SC are doing and plan to do. Erika Masinsky, our Manager of Family Services, delivered an inspiring presentation on a collaborative approach: Palliative Care and OPO Partners. Joe Spitz, our Chief Information Officer, spoke on the panel for Mitigating Kidney Non-Use: How OPOs and Transplant Programs Work Collaboratively to Optimize Kidneys for Transplant.
