About us
The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance (“The Alliance”) delivers relevant, targeted and scalable learning solutions for the organ donation and transplantation community of practice – including organ procurement organizations, transplant programs, and hospitals where donation occurs. By convening members across the community of practice, it is a platform to identify emerging concepts and innovative practices, and cascading resources and educational programs of transformational quality and value. The Alliance is not a membership organization, but partners with leading organizations across the continuum to advance a shared mission to save and heal lives through organ donation and transplantation.

Congratulations to The Alliance's Immediate Past President, Jan Finn on her well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO).
We are pleased to announce that our President and CEO, Jan Finn, received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO). Jan began her career as a registered nurse in Joplin, Missouri. Since joining Midwest Transplant Network (MTN) in 1990, she has been a pioneer in organ donation, promoting collaboration, data-driven strategies and continuous improvement. Under her leadership, MTN has implemented innovative programs and established itself as a leader in the field. Jan's influence extends beyond MTN. "She is truly deserving of this Lifetime Achievement Award," says Steve Miller, AOPO’s CEO. She has served as president of AOPO and the North American Transplant Coordinators Organization, been a member of the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network Board of Directors, and chaired the Donation Board of Trustees for MTF Biologics. Her dedication to the organ procurement community is unparalleled. Please join us in congratulating Jan on this well-deserved honor!
