Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team pioneered the development of open map data for humanitarian action. They have had worldwide impact and will bring a new and valuable perspective to Overture Maps Foundation. I am so glad they have joined. Please check them out and support their work.
In May 2024, we officially joined Overture Maps Foundation (Overture) as a “Contributor Member.” After assessing the opportunities and potential challenges of joining, we reached the conclusion that becoming a member of Overture will enable us to better achieve our vision and live our values as an organization dedicated to the creation and use of open map data for humanitarian action and community development. There are three main reasons why we are excited to join as a new member of the Overture Maps Foundation: 1️⃣ Build bridges 2️⃣ Bring HOT’s priority countries to the forefront 3️⃣ Focus on humanitarian data Learn more about our motivations in our latest blog: https://buff.ly/3xrCJRx

I had a great week on the road and my first time in Rotterdam, the Addresscloud umbrella came in handy! Thanks to the Overture Maps Foundation, Marc Prioleau and Amy Rose for the opportunity to speak about the work we are doing with their amazing global building outlines to help our insurance customers better understand risk
Our CEO, Mark Varley, had the pleasure of attending the Overture Maps Foundation, represented by Marc Prioleau and Amy Rose, at the Geospatial World Forum (GWF) in Rotterdam. This prestigious event gathers national mapping agencies, space agencies, governments, and tech and data companies from around the globe! Overture Maps Foundation also hosted a workshop where addresscloud, alongside speakers from Esri and TomTom, presented their use cases. We're thrilled to be at the forefront of geospatial innovation and to have had the opportunity to share our insights on such a prominent stage! #OvertureMaps #Geospatial #Insurance #Collaboration
