Would you clone yourself with AI? Our very own Nicholas Daniel-Richards is using HeyGen to create how-to videos. It's an experiment in doing more in less time without replacing the human side of what we do. If this is where we're headed, would you use an AI clone of yourself?
This is not posted by ai Nicholas. Honest.
Question to friends, comrades and all fellow humans. I've been creating Packiyo WMS training videos using HeyGen ai. It's an experiment in doing more in less time without replacing the human side of what we do. The videos feel a little weird, yet are incredibly useful. Anyone else doing something like this?
People first, always.
Going into Monday with a lot of focus this week. I'm thankful for building something with wonderful humans here at Packiyo WMS and being a member of a linkedin community of rebels, lunatics and troublemakers. Let's kick arse this week. Thank you team Shipping Pilot for the feedback. You're a wonderful group of people to work with ❤️ Special call out to Greg Airel for the incredible partnership. #wms #3pl

I'm a lucky chap. Aside from my stunningly good looks and close resemblance to Ed Sheeran, I also get to work with amazing people who share my obsession with serving our clients and building value with our partners. Thank you Jake Lindsey for the partnership and a special call out to Fernando Ferreyra who busts his bottom everyday with the rest of our cs team to make sure our clients get the answers they need.
New this week. Configurable shipping rate shopping based on SLA and carrier options and an AI Nicholas Daniel-Richards. #wms #3pl #chaptNDR
So this happened. Our very own Nicholas Daniel-Richards sites down with Frank Dolce at eHub to discuss the important topics. Like what makes a scone a scone? and why are American biscuits not biscuits? Also, there's some talk about shipping. #3pl #ecommerce #scones #britishbakeoff
This week on Know Your Ship, Frank Dolce sits down with Nicholas Daniel-Richards, CEO of Packiyo WMS. From his Birmingham roots to a stellar logistics career, Nicholas shares his tech journey, insights on empathy and sincerity in business, and his leadership style at Packiyo WMS. Thank you, Nicholas, for joining us on “Know Your Ship!” Don't miss this inspiring episode! Tune in now, linked in the comments. #KnowYourSHip #Leadership #Logistics #TechJourney #Podcast #PackiyoWMS

I Automate Warehouses with Robots and AI --> Let's double your capacity with only 25% of the labor \\ System Integrator with over 25 years and $250MM of capital project experience \\ Founder of Oneiro Technologies
Do your workers still use hand-held scanners? There is a better way. It has bothered me for years to watch warehouse workers pick up and set down hand held scanners over-and-over again throughout the day. Moving full cases are a challenge. Sometimes they will set the scanner on a shelf, move the case then go back to get the scanner. Other times they will balance it on the box they are carrying. Picking individual items are inefficient. You might not think about it but those movements add seconds to each task. Multiplied by thousands of movements per day and that really adds up. I am a big fan of comfortable wearable technology. In the past, workers could use a “ring” scanner which as the name suggests Is worn on your finger or fingers like a ring. I never embraced these because they were awkward to use and needed a better interface to handle the task. Rufus Labs now makes a wonderful solution. The Scan2 attaches to one of a few different types of gloves Then connects to a wearable Android device to handle the details of the task. The great thing is that this works amazingly well for goods to person systems. Operators can handle products and packages efficiently with both hands available. It’s an easy improvement to your warehouse workflow. And eliminates lost and broken scanners. Interested in optimizing your warehouse?
