Rehydrate is thrilled to introduce one of our pre-MBA summer interns, Edwardo Alviso. Eddie was raised in Southern California and witnessed water challenges while living in the high desert. He enlisted in the US Army in 2013 and went on to graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2019 with a degree in Law and Legal Studies. While serving in West Africa he saw the immediate impact that lack of accessible clean water had on the communities and the exigency of water stewardship by organizations and governments. He is an inbound candidate at the Harvard Business School and will graduate in 2026. His goal is to innovate and solve pressing problems in the housing space; using the tri-sector approach and helping communities in need. We are very excited to welcome our inaugural class of interns this summer. After receiving a truly humbling amount of amazing applications, we selected nine incredible individuals to join our team this summer. These new team members come from a diverse range of geographies and backgrounds including US Military Service in the US Army, United States Air Force, and US Navy as well as a wealth of private industry experience in #consulting, #finance, #startups, and #engineering. They are all preparing to start their MBA journey at elite institutions like Harvard Business School, Stanford University Graduate School of Business, The Wharton School, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and Columbia Business School. We are thrilled to have them this summer as they’ll help conduct a variety of critical tasks around various product and market research sectors. Earlier this week we pitched alongside five other incredible, Harvard University Veteran affiliated startups in the Harvard Veterans Alumni Organization Inc. Startup Showcase. Last Friday we officially completed The Engine's BluePrint Program, delivering our final presentation on Rehydrate. We learned a tremendous amount throughout the program and highly recommend it to any other early-stage tough tech founders out there. We want to especially thank the members of the Engine team including our mentor Alex Grant, as well as Ian Johnston, Benjamin Downing, and Lina Henríquez.
