  • We’re delighted for the opportunity to again sponsor and participate in the annual Nebraska Lineworkers Rodeo, held July 18-19 at the Custer County Fairgrounds in Broken Bow, NE. Organized by Nebraska utilities and partners, the event provides an opportunity for participants to demonstrate and share best practices. Two-person crews and apprentices are judged on their ability to perform work tasks safely and quickly, as well as demonstrate tasks only conducted in emergency rescue situations.

  • Meet the RESCO Team Jeanette Cutsforth Accounts Receivable / Administrative Assistant Middleton, WI Question: Tell me about your role at RESCO. Answer: I am the accounts receivable/admin assistant. I process incoming invoices, run outgoing invoices, process payments, and coordinate with the customer service reps to follow up on collections. I also work at the front desk at the Middleton office directing incoming calls and greeting visitors. Q: How long have you been with the company? A: Over two years now. Q: What do you enjoy most about your job? A: Keeping the customers happy by getting them the help they need. Q: How has RESCO helped in your career development? A: I had been working in accounting for several years, but it was in the service industry. Working at RESCO has given me a wider knowledge of product-based billing. Processing invoices from our vendors and to our customers. Q: What are your hobbies and passions? A: I enjoy traveling to see and experience new things, including trips on the motorcycle with my husband. I also enjoy my quiet time at home working on various craft/sewing projects. Q: What is something people don’t know about you? A: My career life has been made up of various leaps. I went to school for occupational therapy and worked at that in nursing homes, outpatient clinics, and home health settings. Jumped to driving a school bus when my girls were small (I could take them with me), which resulted in managing the local bus company for many years. Then moved on to accounting for a software company for several years prior to coming to RESCO. Q: What is something you can’t live without? A: Learning and experiencing new things from history, sightseeing, and food. I enjoy it most with my family. My husband is my steadfast companion of 29 years and still going strong. My mother is my rock. My daughters are my proudest achievements and greatest joys. Q: If you could be any movie character, who would you choose and why? A: Professor Minerva McGonagall from "Harry Potter". She is a beacon of wisdom, portrays great strength and compassion, and has a dry wit that I can appreciate. Plus, she is magical. What’s not to love?
