The County has seven incorporated cities: Sacramento (County Seat), Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, Folsom, Galt, and Isleton. The County is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors. Each is elected from one of the five supervisorial districts of the County for a four year term. Other elected officials include the Assessor, District Attorney and Sheriff. The County Executive runs the day to day operations of the County. The County's budget is $3.5 billion.
