Elon Musk has announced that SpaceX and X will relocate their headquarters from California to Texas. This decision, driven by Musk’s dissatisfaction with certain California laws, has ignited a competitive scramble among other space firms to attract SpaceX employees who may be hesitant about the move. Some companies are emphasizing their proximity to SpaceX’s current Hawthorne HQ, while others highlight their inclusive and ambitious workplace cultures (with perks like free Champagne!). This shift marks a significant moment in the space industry, reflecting broader trends in corporate relocations and regulatory environments. #SpaceX #CorporateRelocation #SpaceIndustry #Innovation

It's no surprise that #ElonMusk's decision to move SpaceX's headquarters to #Texas has stirred up the #spaceindustry. SpaceX is a major player, and its employees are a valuable asset. Companies are right to see this as an opportunity to attract #toptalent who might not be thrilled about relocating. Attracting SpaceX employees will take more than #perks. Companies need to create a compelling narrative about their unique strengths, whether it's #cuttingedge technology, a #collaborativeculture, or a clear vision for the future of #spaceexploration. For SpaceX, this move is a gamble. While Texas offers certain advantages, like a lower #costofliving and a #businessfriendlyenvironment, there's also the risk of losing valuable employees who don't want to make the move. Musk will need to work hard to retain his talent by offering incentives, fostering a strong #companyculture, and ensuring a smooth transition for those who do choose to #relocate.

CEO @ Distribute.so → Deal Rooms. But Better.

The best sales teams know this fundamental truth: Only about 3% of your target accounts are immediately ready to buy NOW. That's a tiny slice of the pie. But here's the good news - the other 97% eventually will be ready to buy. The key is nurturing them through the entire buying journey, from awareness to consideration to decision. World-class sales teams live by these principles: ➟ Go After the 3% With Precision Don't spray and pray. Use intent data, technographics, and advanced filtering to laser in on the most qualified, purchase-ready opportunities. ➟ Nurture the 97% Relentlessly Develop always-on nurture tracks with relevant, educational content. Stay top-of-mind until their buying window opens. ➟ Prioritize Pipeline Generation Prospecting and pipeline building are mission-critical. Always be filling the funnel with new opportunities to offset churn. ➟ Leverage Marketing and Demand Gen Coordinate closely with marketing to generate inbound inquiries and accelerate prospects through the funnel. ➟ Focus on Expansion Opportunities Your existing customer base is your most valuable asset. Prioritize cross-sells, upsells, and renewals. ___ P.S. Comment “SEQUENCE” below if you want me to send you 13 email sequences that sell like crazy.

Recent developments in sales growth during events like Prime Day highlight a positive trend. Amazon's Prime Day sales in the first seven hours of the event on July 16 saw an increase of almost 12% compared to the previous year. Market research firms, including Adobe and EMarketer, predict significant sales increases for retailers on the platform during the two-day event. Additionally, small and medium-sized businesses within Amazon's marketplace experienced notable sales growth during last year's event, surpassing Amazon's own retail business. #Retail #PrimeDay

Adobe said total online sales rose 11.7% on July 16. In 2023, shoppers spent $12.7 billion online across retailers over two days when the Prime Day event was on. Shoppers are also using deal events from Amazon, Walmart and Target to scratch some back-to-school items off of their lists. Average spend per order for Amazon was $60.03 during the first 32 hours of the Prime Day event, compared with $56.64 in 2023, according to data firm Numerator. Tesla is focusing on hiring for hundreds of roles across various departments, with a significant emphasis on positions related to robotaxi and Optimus projects. This shift comes after a period of layoffs, indicating a strategic pivot towards autonomy and specific technological advancements. #Tesla #HiringTrends #IndustryNews

Hiring priorities: Tesla has been looking to add hundreds of roles in a range of departments in recent months The company’s current career page is a sharp contrast to May when it listed only three jobs just weeks after CEO Elon Musk ordered the company's largest round ever of layoffs. Tesla currently lists about 800 openings, a far cry from the thousands of positions that Tesla eliminated this year, but the postings provide a glimpse into some of Musk’s priorities for the Austin-based company. This includes a number of roles focused on robotaxi and Optimus as Tesla continues its years-long pursuit of autonomy ahead of its now-October robotaxi event. The Federal Reserve initially planned interest rate cuts to ease household stress, but stubborn inflation led to a change in strategy. Now, investors anticipate up to three rate cuts by year-end. Balancing job preservation and inflation control, the Fed aims to strike the right balance. While high rates have curbed inflation, they also risk layoffs and economic downturn https://lnkd.in/eFXqz7Dr

I’m super excited to kick off our 10th Prime Day at Amazon today! This is one of my favorite times of the year, and it’s exciting to see how much this event has grown. A big thank you to our customers, the sellers in our store, and of course our employees. It takes an incredible array of people, skills, and passions to bring the Amazon magic to life – and there's really no better time to see it all come together than Prime Day. Apple's iPhone sales have shown resilience with shipments rising 1.5% to 45.2 million units in the June quarter, despite a slower pace than the overall global shipments. Additionally, Apple achieved an "all-time high" market share in 2023, securing the number 1 spot annually for the first time. This success is attributed to Apple's dominance in the smartphone market, with iPhone lines occupying eight of the top ten in global sales rankings for 2022. #Apple #Tech #IndustryTrends

Apple's iPhone staged a rebound in China last month with shipments rising 52% amid a flurry of discounts from retail partners. According to the IDC, global smartphone shipments rose 6.5%. And as per Counterpoint Research sales to consumers jumped 6%. It seems discounts & the announcements of new AI enhancements have helped steady sales for Apple & Samsung Electronics which is also promoting a new generation of phones with AI features. According to Statista by the end of 2023, approximately 70% of the world's population were smart phone users. The global revenue in smartphones market was forecast to continuously increase between 2024 & 2029 a total $95 bn (20.32%). And after the fifth consecutive increasing year, the indicator is estimated to reach $562.56 billion by creating a new peak in 2029. #smartphone #ai #technology #apple #android #aiphones #samsung #communicationdevices #cellphone
