Travel Nurse Agency: RN founded and family owned since 1996

About us

TRS Healthcare is RN founded and family owned. We still hold true to those same core values, acting as an advocate for nurses all over the country. Every action we take is for nurses to be able to practice their craft and give the best care possible to patients. TRS has grown from a local per diem agency to staffing healthcare professionals across the nation for over 25 years. We are also proudly one of few preferred staffing agencies for our federal partner, Indian Health Services, in the southwest and elsewhere. In 2005, TRS Healthcare became the 6th Healthcare Staffing Company to be certified by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. In addition, TRS has been named "Best Places to Work" in Arkansas twice in 2017 and 2019. We give nurses the tools to fulfill their needs and meet their career goals using some of the most advanced job-matching tech in industry. At TRS, our candidates are treated like a nurse not a number. You can find all our job listings on our website. Rest assured, we never request money as part of the hiring or onboarding process. Our initial contact is by phone, followed by emails and meeting invitations. Expect multiple interviews before we make an offer. If you have questions about our job listings or any communications related to our corporate positions, please reach out to us.

Congratulations to Virginia Johnson, Senior Recruiter, on her 24th anniversary at TRS Healthcare! In honor of her accomplishment, we sat down with Virginia to discuss her career and what she’s learned over the years. 𝘘. 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 24 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴. 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘙𝘚 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨? When I first began at TRS, the company was starting up, and everyone strove to make the company better. I still feel the responsibility that I did back then, to do my very best for the company. Even when times are slow, you give it all, because you want this company to succeed. 𝘘. 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘙𝘚 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦? I was working as a certified CNA at a nursing home in Fayetteville, AR, and wasn’t feeling very fulfilled. Another CNA told me, “You should go work for The Right Solutions (today we are known as TRS Healthcare). I went to Tontitown and applied, and Diana [Wright] hired me on the spot. I worked in the field for nine months, and then I applied for a staffing role in the office. I came in, interviewed, and haven’t left since. 𝘘. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 24 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴? One of my favorite memories was when Diana was declared cancer free. That was a very scary time, and we all had to band together to try and keep the company afloat. Hearing that she was cancer free was a miracle! I also remember that the nurses had to come in person to the office to turn in their timesheets. I loved that because I got to meet each one of them. 𝘘. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳? It’s all about finding the right job for the right person. I thoroughly enjoy it, especially when I hear the reactions of my nurses who get an assignment when they desperately need a job. That’s where my fulfillment is. It’s all about the relationship. TRS has allowed me to raise my kids and provide for them. My daughter’s talking about going into nursing. I look forward to working every single day. Every day is different – no two days are the same. I’m going to be doing this until the wheels fall off!
