Please be on the alert! Scammers have been calling Spanish-speaking customers in the Sacramento area. These criminals pretend to be PG&E agents, and tell the customer that their electricity will be cut off if they don’t give the so-called agent their bank account number or immediately transfer money into an account. VCE will never contact you — either on the phone or in person — with these kinds of demands. If you have questions about a suspicious phone call or visit, hang up and contact VCE’s customer service instead: 530-446-2750. ¡Alerta!
