Yesterday, Skydio hosted a highly successful experience day in Leesburg, VA. Attendees had the opportunity to fly a Skydio X10 at three different flight stations, focusing on Remote Operations, Subject Tracking with zoom and obstacle avoidance, and 3D scanning and thermal operations. Additionally, a select group conducted building inspections in our farm town area. Government, military, and public safety officials were able to get hands-on experience with the X10—a fantastic way to try before you buy! Xelevate was honored to collaborate with the George Mason University - Executive Education team and the 9th Air Force (AFCENT) team for a private event held this week at our Leesburg, VA facility. On Day 1, we invited our Xelevate innovation corridor tenants and preferred partners to showcase their cutting-edge UAS and CUAS technologies and infrastructures. Yesterday we attended CyberSlam3.0 at George Mason University. Students from high schools in VA came out and we brought out our partner Zephyr Drone Simulator to join in on the fun. We love supporting STEM education and the students enjoyed flying with us and using the drone simulator. Great day and wonderful scholarship presentation too.
