Projects

  • Coin Count

We built a convolutional neural network (modeled after ImageNet) using Caffe to detect, recognize, and classify the segmented images of United States coins with 92% accuracy. Our overall image recognition system is able to consume an image containing many coins and count the total value of the coins within the image.

  • Punch

Punch allows winemakers to easily and effectively monitor the fermentation progress of their wines. Punch uses real-time monitoring and alerts to keep fermentations on track and reduce the possibility for error, and it scales to a virtually limitless number of fermentations in parallel.
